Copper declines on weak global cues
New Delhi, Feb 18 (PTI) Copper prices declined by Rs 2 per kg on the local non-ferrous metal market today, largely in tandem with the weak trend at the London Metal Exchange (LME). Traders said slackened demand from consuming industries also weighed on copper prices. Meanwhile, copper for three-month delivery declined 0.2 per cent to USD 9,790 a tonne on the LME.
