Coffee exports up 44.79% in Jan

The coffee board said that in January 2011, the exports of coffee from India rose 44.79 per cent to 20,957 tonnes against 14,474 lakh tonnes in January 2010 whereas the unit value realisation rose 15.57 per cent at Rs 1.41 lakh a tonne against Rs 1.22 lakh a tonne in 2010. Meanwhile, the exports of coffee were up 67.23 per cent to Rs 296.95 crore against Rs 177.56 crore, in terms of rupee
